MSSU sprinter Amber White earns All-American honors

Missouri Southern junior sprinter Amber White earned All-American honors as the Lions competed in the final day of the 2014 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston Salem. 
White, a native of Cuba, Mo., raced to a time of 55.91 to finish fourth in the 400m and earn All-American honors. 
In other action, Whitney Hardy placed 14th in the high jump with a height of 5-5, while Brittani Reagan was 11th in the triple jump with a leap of 39-03.75. Kylie Cornman placed 12th in the shot put with a distance of 47-05.25. 
The Lions finished 29th overall and had two All-Americans as White joins Kaylee Morgan who earned All-American honors yesterday in the long jump. 
Southern will now look toward outdoor season when Southern starts up at the Pittsburg State Invite on March 29th.
