Missouri Southern's Ryan Buerk was selected to participate at the Central/Midwest Super Regional at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club.
Buerk finished his senior year ranked sixth in the Central Region and will be making his second NCAA Regional appearance, and will be joined by Trey Herman of Fort Hays State, Tyler Koivisto of St. Cloud State, and Corey Knight of Missouri Western.
The Central/Midwest Super Regional will be held at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club on course 4, Dubsdread. Dubsdread is a 7,144 yard par 72 course that has hosted 2007, 2009-2011 BMW Championships, the 1991-2006 Western Open Championships, the 1997 U.S. Amateur, the 1970 & 1989 U.S. Public Links Championship, and the 1987 U.S. Women's Public Links Championship.
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 18-22, at Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, North Carolina. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's medal-match portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University.
There will be four regional sites in which two regions will meet and conduct regional tournaments. The regional tournaments will be paired as follows:
