Missouri Southern junior sprinter Jeff Fraley has been named the MIAA men's Track Athlete of the Week the league announced today.
Fraley, a 5-9 native of St. Robert, Mo., had a big weekend at the Gorilla Classic hosted by Pittsburg State. He won the 200m dash in a provisional time of 20.99. He also then ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x100m team that helped set a new school record with a time of 40.56, a time currently ranks 4th in Division II and is 2nd in the MIAA.
Fraley and the Lions will be back in action next week with split action at both the KU Relays and Mule Relays, as well as competing at Missouri S&T on Saturday.
