SBU added two more runs in the bottom half of the fifth, before the Lions answered back with a Nattick home run in the sixth to make the score 12-6.
Two more SBU runs in the sixth pushed the score to 14-6, but Davis hit the first of his two home runs on the day in the seventh before Smith added a sacrifice fly to make the score 14-8.
Jesse Rall and Davis hit back-to-back home runs in the eighth to get the Lions within four (14-10) but SBU added three in the bottom half of the inning to put the game away.
Davis went 4-5 in the game with two driven in and four runs scored. He had two home runs, part of five on the day hit by the Lions.
