The Missouri Southern women's track and field team have had six athletes in eight events named All-Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Both Amber White (Cuba, Mo.) and Brittani Reagan (Bentonville, Ark.) earned All-Region honors in multiple events. White picked up All-Region honors in both the 200m and 400m, ranking 32nd in the 200m and 14th in the 400m.
Reagan picked up All-Region honors in both the long and triple jump. She currently ranks 13th in the long jump and 18th in the triple.
Kaitlyn Belisle (Enid, Okla.) earned All-Region honors in the 10k, while Kylie Cornman (Mountain View, Mo.) picked up All-Region honors in the shot put. Cornman ranks 10th nationally currently in the event.
Whitney Hardy (Dixon, Mo.) picked up All-Region honors in the high jump and currently ranks seventh nationally, while Kaylee Morgan earned All-Region honors in the long jump. Morgan, a Carthage native, is tied for the national lead in the event.
The Lions will find out tonight who has qualified for the Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in Allendale, Mich. on the campus of Grand Valley State University. The event will take place on May 22-24.
