Missouri Southern senior thrower Kylie Cornman earned All-American status on the final day of the 2014 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Cornman (Mountain View, Mo.) placed third in the shot put with a toss of 49-05.75. She hit 47-07.75 in her first attempt and picked up a distance of 48-07.25 in her final throw.
The mark is the top mark in her career at Southern and ranks as the seventh-best mark ever in Missouri Southern history. It is the second All-American honor for Cornman as she placed fourth in the 2013 Indoor Championships.
In other action for the Lions, Whitney Hardy (Dixon, Mo.) placed 17th in the high jump, clearing 5-3.
