MSSU's Brittani Reagan places 10th in long jump at NCAA

Missouri Southern sophomore jumper Brittani Reagan placed tenth in the long jump as the Lions competed in day one of the 2014 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 
The event is taking place in Allendale, Mich. on the campus of Grand Valley State University. 
Reagan (Bentonville, Ark.) hit a distance of 19-4.75 in her second attempt, but fouled in her final attempt and just missed out on the final round in the event. 
Kaylee Morgan (Carthage, Mo.) came into the event ranked No. 1 in Division II, but ran into trouble and fouled in her final two attempts and did not make the final round, finishing 22nd. 
In other action, Amber White (Cuba, Mo.) ran a 56.10 in the prelims of the 400m and placed 17th, failing to make the finals in the event. 
Kaitlyn Belisle (Enid, Okla.) finished 16th in the 10k in a time of 36:21.94. 
The Lions will have both Reagan (triple jump) and Kindra Emberton (800m prelims) in action tomorrow. Reagan begins at 3:45 pm central time and Emberton runs at 5:15 pm.
