MSSU women's track earns three provisionals at PSU

The Missouri Southern women's track and field team picked up three provisionals today as the Lions competed at the 2014 Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic. 
Shelby Sutherland placed seventh in the high jump with a height of 5-01.25, while Ashleigh McFarland picked up a provisional height and a fifth-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 11-08.50. Sydney Haase placed 9th in the pole vault. 
Kaylee Morgan picked up a provisional in the long jump with a distance of 19-01.50, placing second, whileBrittani ReaganTaitum Mead and Shelby Newell placed 3rd, 6th and 7th. Newell placed 3rd in the triple jump in a distance of 38-01.50, while Mahogany Jones placed 11th. 
Kylie Cornman was 7th in the hammer with a distance of 151-01, while she placed 2nd in the shot put with a provisional distance of 44-11.50. 
JeAnna Sheppard was fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.78, while Emily Paullus and Taitum Mead placed 6th and 7th, respectively. 
Kayla Roberts was 7th in the 1,500m with a time of 5:07.79, while Addie Mengwasser was 8th and Kayla Bartelsmeyer placed 12th. Sierra Gray was 4th in the 3k steeplechase, while Sydney Potts and Dana Roberson placed 3rd and 4th in the 800m. 
Traci Walker was 14th in the 200m, while Taylor Alumbaugh and Jones placed 20th and 24th in the event.
