Missouri Southern throwers Nicklas Polizzi and Bryan Burns competed in the 2014 Central Missouri Mule Relays on Friday.
Polizzi took fourth in the discus with a provisional distance of 162-09. Burns was 16th in the discus in a distance of 145-00, while Polizzi was 11th in the hammer and Burns placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 49-11.25.
The Lions will be in action today, competing at the 2014 Missouri S&T/Dewey Allgood Invitational.
