(From MSSU Lions Athletic News)

The Missouri Southern baseball program, along with the Boys and Girls Club (BAGC) of Joplin and the MSSU Greek chapters will be hosting the inaugural Boys and Girls Club game next week against Pittsburg State.
MSSU and the Boys and Girls Club of Joplin will team up with the Greek chapters at Southern to host the game on April 15th as the Lions take on Pittsburg State at 6 pm inside Joe Becker Stadium.

The Boys and Girls Club is a nation-wide, not-for-profit organization that serves local communities in enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, responsible and productive citizens. Their programs are designed to improve and enhance the quality of life through the collaboration of professional staff, trained volunteers, family members and community leaders.

This event will provide the kids with an experience they will never forget, while instilling the values and morals that the organization upholds on a nationwide scale. Throughout the ballgame, the kids will be participating in games and activities with the Greek chapters of Missouri Southern.
