The Missouri Southern men's and women's basketball teams picked up four individuals on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll the league announced today.
Three women and one man were named to the team that honors individuals with a 3.00 GPA or higher. First-year transfers and transfers are not eligible for the award until they have two terms of attendance at the nominating institution. Those individuals will be honored at the end of the year.
From women's basketball, Shawnee Phillips (3.779 - Criminal Justice) Jolee Sharp (3.136 - Criminal Justice) and Kenya Brown (3.095 - Biology) all earned the award.
On the men's side, Stephen Atkinson (3.396 - Biology) earned the honor.
