Joplin's Megan Rowe, two others sign with MSSU soccer

Missouri Southern Women's Soccer coach Alese Woolard has announced the addition of three athletes to her 2015 squad.

The three incoming freshman are Bailey North from Francis Howell North, Megan Rowe from Joplin, and Addison Kingrey of Maize.

Bailey North, 5-8, Midfielder/Forward, St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell North HS

Bailey comes to Southern from St. Charles, Mo. where she will be a four year letter winner for Francis Howell North HS. Bailey is a two time All-Academic selection, while earning second team All-Conference in 2013, and first team honors in 2014. Also in 2014, Bailey earned All-State Honorable Mention and All-St. Louis honors. Bailey has played four years for Lou Fusz Meyer where they were state semi-finalists all four years, the previous four years she played for JB Marine. Bailey is the daughter of Karl and Denise North and is undecided on her major. Bailey's two brothers, Mason & Logan, both played collegiate soccer. Mason played four years at Drury while Logan played all four years at Drake.

Megan Rowe, 5-7, Goalkeeper, Joplin, Mo./Joplin HS

Megan comes to the Lions from Joplin HS where she was a three time Academic All-Ozark Conference selection. During her freshman season Megan earned Honorable mention All-Ozark Conference honors in the net for the Eagles while earning team MVP honors during her sophomore campaign. Megan earned first team All-Ozark Conference and All-District honors her junior season. She has played seven years with her club team, the Pink Panthers. Megan is a member of the National Honor Society and takes part in the A+ schools program. Megan is the daughter of Lynette (Rowe) Grimes and is undecided on her major at Southern.

Addison Kingrey, 5-7, Defender, Wichita, Kan./Maize HS

Addison comes to Southern form Maize HS in Wichita, Kan. where she will play varsity for four years for Coach Jay Holmes. During her freshman season Addison earned honorable mention AVCTL Division I, while she earned second team AVCTL Division I and second team 6A All-Region honors during her sophomore and junior seasons. Addison is a member of the Maize HS chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Students Against Drunk Driving, and the Red Rage Pep Club. Addison has played the previous two years with the WFC United club team helping them to a third place state ranking. The previous 12 years Addison played for the Cholita Strikers. Addison plans to major in elementary education and is the daughter of Scott and Amanda Kingrey who both played soccer at Friends University in Wichita, Kan.
