Bob Uecker to get a statue in last row at Miller Park

Longtime Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker, the backup catcher for the World Champion 1964 St. Louis Cardinals, will be honored with a statue in the back row of the Brewers' home field Miller Park.

The last row is a reference to a series of successful Miller Lite Beer commercials Uecker did in the 1970s which featured him with the worst view in the house.

"I can't think of a better place to put this statue," Uecker toldMLB.com. "This will be great for fans and even better for pigeons. You might even be able to see a little part of the field."
