Crowder baseball players earn All-Region 16 honors

Crowder College baseball players were honored by being named to the All-Region 16, 1st and 2nd team.

Players earning 1st team honors are:

· Michael Chrisman – Outfielder

· Freilin Cabrera – Infielder

· Ross Carver – Pitcher

Players earning 2nd team honors are:

· Colten Nix – Infielder

· Sam Chaput – Catcher

· Colin Brougham – Pitcher

· Colten Weber – Pitcher

All-Defensive team honors went to:

· Colten Nix

· Jorden Hussein

After winning the Region 16 tournament the Roughriders (47-14) and ranked #10 in Division I baseball, will host the South Central District, May 17-19, at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin. The winner of the district will advance to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, CO.
