(From MSSU Lions Athletic News)

The Missouri Southern volleyball team will open up the 2018 season tomorrow morning as they travel to Warrensburg to compete in the Peggy Martin Challenge, hosted by the University of Central Missouri.

All matches will take place inside the Multipurpose Building on the UCM campus. The Lions will play Drury University at 9 am on Friday morning to open the day and then will face off with 14th-ranked Arkansas Tech at 5 pm.

Southern will then take on Truman State at 11 am on Saturday, before facing off with fourth-ranked Florida Southern at 5 pm that night.

The Lions were picked 9th in the MIAA preseason poll and are under first-year head coach Kalie Mader. Southern returns three All-MIAA players in Alicia Pickett, Janelle Brehm and Morgan Nash.
