Brady Skeens led four Washburn University men's basketball players in double figures with a game-high 20 points as the Ichabods rolled to a 82-64 victory over Pittsburg State University at Lee Arena Saturday (Jan. 21).
WU (13-5, 5-4 MIAA) built an 18-point halftime advantage against Pitt State (3-15, 1-9 MIAA).
Elijah Gaines paced the Gorillas with 17 points while R.J. Pair finished with 12.
Pitt State shot 42.3 percent from the field in the game, making 22 of 52 shots, while WU shot it at a 62 percent clip, converting 31 of 50 attempts.
The Gorillas will return to action Thursday (Jan. 26) when they return home to face the University of Central Oklahoma in MIAA action at John Lance Arena.
