Crowder soccer wins National Soccer Coaches Association award

The Crowder College Soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Rankings Award for the 2016 season. This is another historical feat for the team in its 9th season. Crowder was ranked #20 out of all NJCAA Division I teams in the country.

The Roughriders finished 15-4 on the season as they earned a berth in the Region 16 finals for first time in program history. Three players receiving All-Region Honors which is voted on by the region coaches.

Coach Brad Smith completed his 40th season as a coach this year. His experience as a coach and administrator lead him to feel this team would perform well. “This is quite an honor. Going into this season I had high expectations for this team to exceed previous accomplishments and we did,” stated Smith.
