MSSU cross country team featured on latest Newsmakers program

The recent success of this year’s cross country program at Missouri Southern will be highlighted in the next edition of “Newsmakers” on KGCS-TV.

Head Distance Coach, Jamie Burnham – who was named this year’s MIAA Cross Country Coach of the Year - will be joined on the program by freshman Gidieon Kimutai and sophomore Ashlee Kuykendall. All will talk about this year’s season, which included a team title for the men in the Division II Central Region Championships.

KGCS programming can be seen on channel 22. It is also available on regional cable television systems such as Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
