Some familiar faces will be on the coaching staff for first year Kansas City Royals Manager Mike Matheny.
The Royals announced that Rusty Kuntz, the first base coach during the team's recent World Series appearances, will return to that position after a stint as special assignment coach.
John Mabry, a former St. Louis Cardinals player who served as Matheny's hitting coach with the Cardinals will serve as bench coach.
