The Missouri Southern department of athletics graduated 28 current or former students today as Missouri Southern State University conducted its Winter Commencement inside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.
Amongst the list are student-athletes from the cheerleading squad, softball, women's basketball, men's and women's track, men's basketball, football and soccer.
Leading the list is former women's basketball player Kristen Hanna. Hanna graduated Magna Cum Laude and also graduated as part of the Honors Program. She has spent the past two years working as a student in the communications department at KGCS, the campus television network, and has been the lead commentator for Southern football and basketball broadcasts.
Men's track and field All-American Nick Polizzi, a native of Germany, graduated Cum Laude with a degree in biochemistry.
