MSSU men's track and field to hold Vault Camp

(From MSSU Lions Athletic News)

Missouri Southern men's track and field coach Bryan Schiding has announced the MOSO New Year's Vault Camp to be held inside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

The camp will be a day camp and take place on January 2-3, 2016.

This camp is a two-day camp designed four coaches and athletes of any level who want to improve their technique and knowledge in the vault. The coaching staff will use a fundamental approach and proven drill series that will develop your vaulting.

The camp will take place indoors and will utilize a rope, rings and pulley system, as well as other apparatus. Athletes are encouraged to bring their own poles, but if they are not able, they can be provided. Campers must provide their own workout gear, and bring sneakers as well as running shoes. Everyone attending will also be required to provide proof of insurance before beginning the camp.

Cost is $200 for student-athletes and $100 for coaches. The cost will include lunch and drinks. Camp begins at 9 am each day and ends at 5 pm. All those in attendance will receive a flash drive that will include presentations on it with lots of great information.
