Third place finish predicted for MSSU men's cross country

The Missouri Southern men's cross country program has been picked to finish third in the 2015 MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, the league announced today. 
The Lions are the defending MIAA Champions and return four runners from last year's team that won all but one regular-season Division II meet it entered in 2014. 
Jacob CoffmanNathan HenryTyler Rush and Ben Southwick all return and head coach Bryan Schiding brings in an exciting group of newcomers to help the Lions defend their title. 
Southern opens up the season on September 5 at the Southwest Baptist Invitational. The Lions play host to the Southern Stampede on September 19. Missouri Southern will host the 2015 NCAA Central Regional Championships on November 7, as well as the NCAA Division II National Championship on November 21.
