Sioux Falls, SD -- The Missouri Southern men's golf team is in first, while Colby Cox is the individual leader after day one of the Augustana Invite held at Elmwood Golf Course.
Cox leads the way with a one-under par 71. Logan Greer is in third with a 73, while Jonathan Sanchez and Jon Lenz are tied at ninth with a 76.
The Lions shot a first-round 296, to lead second-place Sioux Falls by four strokes. South Dakota Mines is third, followed by Augustana, Manitoba and Minnesota-Crookston to round out the team scores.
Southern will be back at it tomorrow morning with a final round of 18 holes.
