Missouri Southern junior designated hitter Jesse Rall has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-America team, the association announced today.
Rall led the team in home runs (16) and RBIs (61) this season and he ranked third in the league in both home runs and home runs per game, third in RBIs and second in slugging. He tied the single-season home run record at MSSU and also ranks 15th nationally in home runs and 22nd in slugging.
He is the third Lion to earn All-America honors this season and he is named to his second list. Cody Hutchinson, Rall and Chris Hoffman were named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-America team, while Hoffman and Hutchinson were named to the Daktronics/SID's team.
