Children interested in developing their soccer skills have an opportunity to do so during the Joplin Demize’s summer soccer day camp. The City’s newest sports team is offering kids a fun way to learn or develop the skills needed to excel at soccer.
The summer soccer day camp runs June 23 through June 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The cost is $40 per child. For more information or to register, please visit the Joplin Demize Summer Camp website at www.demizesoccercamps.com.
The Joplin Demize soccer team was brought to Joplin early this spring and kicked off their season on May 16, 2014. The team uses local talent, allowing players from area schools to showcase their talents. As a member of the National Premier Soccer League, the Joplin Demize qualifies for the U.S. Open Cup.
