Due to the reduction in maximum allowable games this season by the NCAA, all regular-season games for the Lions will be MIAA contests.
The season kicks off for each team with a road trip to Central Oklahoma on November 19 and Newman on November 21. The home opener for the Lions is December 3 against Northeastern State. Southern will host Northwest Missouri on December 17 and Pittsburg State on February 20 as the Lions close the season with three-straight games inside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.
The 2021 MIAA Basketball Tournament will be back inside the historic Municipal Auditorium running from March 4 through March 7, 2021.
